Happy Friday Doll, how has your week? I feel like things are still quite slow due to the holidays but maybe that’s because I work from home and don’t really go on the train during peak hours. Do you know that Pantone picked Rose Quartz and Serenity as 2016 Color of the Year? In simple words: pale pink and soft/baby blue will rule this year (Marsala was 2015’s color of the year). I am very excited about these two colors because they bring gender equality. We were born learning that pink are for girls and blue for boys but I hope that this year we get to do a remix. Pantone Color Institute executive director Leatrice Eiseman shared her views on the subject: “When you use colors that are at opposite sides of the color wheel, what you’re doing is reinforcing the opposite color.
