The UK has some incredible areas to explore – maybe not exotic places, but there are still plenty of interesting cities in England for exploring. Recently, I decided to have a break from London’s crazy lifestyle and spend a few days in Newcastle. Getting the right hotel can make a huge difference in how you experience any break and we were very lucky to stay at Jesmond Dene House which has the most superb location with fabulous nature views. I loved the location as it has the most amazing scenic walks and just a few minutes walk away from coffee shops, boutiques, restaurants and pubs and 10-minute car journey into the city center. MY STAY AT HOTEL VILLA OTERO | NICE, FRANCE ?#HappyCulture Most of you know that I turned 24 years old last Sunday. If you didn’t know, now you do ha-ha. To celebrate my birthday we went on a weekend trip to Nice, France. I have always wanted to visit the French Riviera and when we checked out the weather there, we were sold! Not to mention the history, art and an abundance of good food and wine. It was the perfect destination to celebrate any occassion. Where to stay in Nice, France: We stayed at a very charming four-star hotel, Villa Otero, part of the HappyCulture group. The first impression when you step into the lobby is “OMG, this place is so cute!”. The hotel has a symbolic architecture from the Belle Epoque: the Quartier des Musiciens.
