On Sunday my boyfriend and I celebrated our monthiversary (yes, we celebrate every month! I guess it’s an excuse to treat ourselves more than we should ha-ha). Knowing me too well, he choose a seafood restaurant in Dalston Junction. It was our first time going there and  I absolutely loved the atmosphere; so I took a few snaps to share with you guys: Mussel Men is ideal for dinner and drinks with friends as well as dates; and while having drinks I discovered my newest favorite cider: Strawberry Thistly Cross Cider  (It tastes divine). Suggestion: I loved the atmosphere as well as the food. I understand that they want to highlight the freshness of the seafood, but the only thing I would suggest is that they put more flavor on the dishes as I found myself adding a lot of salt & pepper. Valentine’s Day at The Electric Cinema I’ve been meaning to plan a little surprise for my boyfriend, but I wasn’t sure what I really wanted to do. That was when I remembered that a friend of mine had recommended this really cozy cinema in Notting Hill Gate called Electric Cinema. The cinema is in Notting Hill, the room is huge and luxurious with a giant projector. There are 65 comfortable leather chairs and even beds. The Electric Cinema is 104 years old and has a very romantic atmosphere: the lamps make it even cutter. As it was a surprise, I only told him what we were doing once we were in front of the cinema. I could see on his face how surprised he was and that he definitely loved it.
