3 Looks featuring River Island Plus Size Range

River Island has launched a plus size range, called R.I Plus. It was launched this March and has already got some fabulous pieces. The collection is available in sizes 18-24. You might be wondering why I’m wearing their plus size collection and not their original range. Well, I fell in love with some of the R.I plus pieces and decided that I wanted to style it in a cool and fun way.

I absolutely love the fact that brands are bringing plus sizes to fashion. I’m not sure I have ever touched on this topic but I used to be heavier from 10-17 yrs old and I’m sure that if at the time society embraced all different types of bodies I would have had a much more pleasant childhood/teenage years – but I’ll tell you more about my bullying story on another post (I promise).

Let’s just concentrate on the fact that different kinds of people are being accepted and appreciated for what they truly are, how awesome is that? I think it’s a remarkable achievement.
