Did you ever go out and thought to your self: “I wonder if this dress/skirt will work with trainers”. Well, I have and most of the time I would turn the idea down for thinking that it would look like I’d been lazy when choosing the shoes; but trainers are not just for playing sports anymore. It’s easy to style and very comfortable. This time I wanted a “laidback” casual, but still feminine look so I paired the trainers with a Nike pleated tennis skirt, black bodysuit and a small side clutch: What did you guys think?

OOTD: Jeans & Over the Knee Boots

This weekend I came across this cool place called: Leake Street tunnel by Waterloo station. The tunnel is full of personality and colours; you’re guaranteed to see several artists doing their thing. I would definitely recommend this tunnel if you’re looking for a great place to see free art in London. But back to the outfit! This is what I chose to wear on my walk: The waist vest gives the illusion of a slimmer waist; which I’m in need at the moment as I have gained a few Kg’s.As this this location had a “darker” vibe to it, I decided to wear sunnies with a bigger frame to give the look a little more attitude. I love how the jeans sit on my waist. Review: One Aldwych London

On Monday, the company I work (Rapport)  for took us on a wonderful  5* Hotel Experience at One Aldwych Hotel. I was extremely impressed so I took the opportunity review the hotel and it’s surroundings. Superbly placed in the heart of London in Covent Garden the One Aldwych hotel is ideally located for those who want to be just a short walk away from the shops e.g. Oxford Street, the nightlife of Soho, restaurants of Chinatown, and the history of Trafalgar Square.I know what you must be thinking; “It’s in the corner of one of London’s busiest streets”. Yes, but believe it or not the hotel itself is an oasis of tranquility, specially when you get to the subterranean spa which includes an amazing swimming pool with an amazing screen (we’ll get to that).
