River Island has launched a plus size range, called R.I Plus. It was launched this March and has already got some fabulous pieces. The collection is available in sizes 18-24. You might be wondering why I’m wearing their plus size collection and not their original range. Well, I fell in love with some of the R.I plus pieces and decided that I wanted to style it in a cool and fun way. I absolutely love the fact that brands are bringing plus sizes to fashion. I’m not sure I have ever touched on this topic but I used to be heavier from 10-17 yrs old and I’m sure that if at the time society embraced all different types of bodies I would have had a much more pleasant childhood/teenage years – but I’ll tell you more about my bullying story on another post (I promise).
