I am currently looking to move flats as mine is literally the size of an egg (haha, not a joke). So, I got super excited when I got the opportunity to spend the night at UNCLE.
First things first: the views!! It’s definitely a WOW factor and I loved the views and you get to see all iconic London landscapes.
The reception, communal bar, lounge and gym are all thought out so well and have a distinctive but personal style. When I got to the top floor I totally felt as if I had just stepped into a luxury Rooftop bar. It has the most incredible space available to residents to entertain friends and family or just to relax or do some work.
UNCLE offers a kinder approach to renting and aims to take the ‘lord’ out of the traditional ‘landlord’ and tenant relationship.
Established in 2017, UNCLE believes people deserve a better rental living experience and aims to bring the industry into the 21st century by owning and managing every building – so there’s no need for a middleman.
UNCLE not only works with world-class architects and designers to create beautiful apartments and communal spaces like gyms, sky lounges and yoga studios (for no extra charge), they offer a straight-talking, no-nonsense approach for renters who are tired of hard-to-reach landlords and being treated like second-class citizens.
They do this by making promises that address the issues customers have told them they care about. Most importantly, UNCLE makes promises that it backs up with consequences. In particular:
- Risk-free trial – tear up the contract if you don’t like the flat within 2 weeks
- Guarantee routine repairs or a day of rent back
- Flexibility to move to different flats (and other UNCLE properties)
- On-site property managers
- Minimum 100MB and up to 1GB internet speeds
- No hidden or crazy fees whatsoever
Personally, I can’t afford this amazing apartment at the moment but I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone who can as it really is excellent!
