Things You Can’t Miss in Covent Garden

Covent Garden is one of my favourite areas in London. It’s full of life at all times – day or night. I tend to go to Covent Garden for anything. The area is full of restaurants, cafes, cute shops and the most importantly (for me) makeup stores. Last weekend, I was looking for organising boxes and lip pencils – guess where I went? Yes, you got me! Covent Garden! It’s such a great place to hang out as it is within walking distance of Soho and Trafalgar Square. I did a short video with things I think you can’t miss in Covent Garden:

Coffee Shops
The area has the most adorable coffee shops ever! Every time I want to have a good cup of coffee or hot chocolate I tend to go to West End. My favourite is La Gelatiera, it has great coffee and superb gelato.

While walking around Monmouth St, Hotel Chocolat got my attention. The shop was full of tempting boxes of chocolates drinks and snacks. It surely made me want to taste them all when I smelled the aroma of melted chocolate. A cool thing I found out is that they are also a School of Chocolate. With chocolate-making sessions, tasting events and all kinds of bespoke parties and events for everyone from kids to corporate teams. How awesome is that? I am a chocolate addict/lover so I really want to come back there for a chocolate making lesson.

Makeup Stores
I would say that Covent Garden is the perfect choice when you want to go on a makeup shopping spree. You could go to Westfield, but if you want an outdoor experience while you spend you should go there. Here are the main stores: Charlotte Tilbury, Benefit, Kiko, Bobbi Brown, Clinique, Chanel and Aesop. There’s so much more, definitely worth exploring. Covent Garden

Covent Garden is also famous for the Theatre, bars, restaurants, hotels, and culture. Things you might want check when visiting Covent Gardens:

Covent Garden Piazza – is ideal for your first taste of Covent Garden.
Royal Opera House – you can see world-class performances by the Royal Opera or Royal Ballet companies.
London Transport Museum – one of the world’s oldest public transportation systems with interactive exhibits and decommissioned vehicles.
Holborn Dining Room or play it cool at The Ivy.
