5 Ways to Make Your Monday Amazing!!

Monday’s have become one of my favorite days of the week, I know you might be thinking: “What the hell?” but I genuinely have come to terms with Mondays. This has only changed because I do what I love and Mondays no longer give me the “I want to kill myself vibes”.  Yes, a little dramatic but I’m sure you have thought that too.

I feel excited about Monday’s because that’s when I come back to my routine and get a chance to plan how my week will be. Obviously, we all have different jobs and not all of us are doing what we love yet but if there’s one thing we shouldn’t do is kill our productivity because of “Monday blues“.

Quite often, people come to work and the first thing they say is “I can’t wait for Friday to come”. I understand the feeling, I truly do but why would you neglect the whole week waiting for Friday to come? You should make the most of every single day you’re alive and I’m afraid to say that Monday’s are a part of it so please make the most of it!

Monday is my most productive day and it should become yours too! Here are 5 Ways to Make Your Monday Amazing:

1. Differentiate your Weekends from Working Days:MondayIt’s an obvious one but in order to be ready and fresh on Monday, you need to be able to rest during the weekend. Friday evening: turn work mode off and slow down your thoughts until work is out of the picture. Take the time to indulge yourself with your favorite activities even if like me, it’s Netflix & Chill.

Something that really helps me unwind, is a glass of Wine with some berries in it to make it pretty. Make sure to relax and book that full body massage that you have been wanting for a while. You’ll feel energized and ready to face Monday with a big smile!

2. Rise Early:

I know not everyone is a morning person but getting up early will be so satisfying, there’s nothing better than coming out of the gym before that 9am shift feeling motivated and ready to tackle the day ahead.

It will also burn fat faster – as you haven’t eaten much sugar before or after the gym your body will attack sugar first and then go after fat during a workout. In order to rise early on a Monday, you should also think about making a list on Sunday night, without worrying about forgetting something in the morning.

3. Delicious breakfast:MondayIs there anything better than waking up and remembering that you have a delicious breakfast waiting for you? I always boil two eggs the night before which means that in the morning I will only need to make some toast and black coffee… easy peasy lemon squeezy.

If you don’t have the time the night before, wake up a few minutes earlier to prepare yourself something nice to eat. Remember: a car without fuel won’t run.

4. Be Positive:

Not only on Monday’s but every single day of your life. This is nobody’s choice but ours. Our thoughts influence how we feel for the rest of the day and how others feel around us. You need to truly set your heart, mind, and spirit into being positive. If you practice that, no one will be able to hold you down… not even on a Monday!

5. Keep your friends and family close:

MondayI have said this many times, friends and family are exceptionally important in our lives. They are the ones who are there when you feel happy and most importantly when you’re sad. Make sure to surround yourself with your loved ones during the weekend to feel super positive and loved during the week. You’ll be amazed how effective this tactic is to bring your mood all the way up!
