HIGH PROTEIN PANCAKE DAY WITH PROTEIN WORLD

Pancake day is celebrated by eating lots of pancakes, obviously, and this year I tried Protein World’s The Slender Blend High Protein Pancakes and their ZERO Calorie Slender Syrup.

It was actually my first time making pancakes and I must say that it was easier than I ever imagined. They are super quick to make – all you need to do is add 4 scoops of the mix with 100ml of milk and shake, shake, shake!If you follow the recipe, your pancakes will be low calorie (only 85 calories per pancake), high protein (11g) and low sugar. Protein World has also added vitamins B6 & B12 to reduce tiredness and fatigue, how amazing?

SIMPLE SLENDER PANCAKES 🥞

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 banana
  • 1tsp coconut oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 scoops slender blend (any flavour)
  • Toppings (Optional) honey, peanut butter, berries

NUTRITIONAL INFO

  • Per pancake (no toppings)
  • Calories 312
  • Protein 28g
  • Carbohydrates 29g
  • Sugar 16g
  • Fibre 3g
  • Fat  13g

METHOD

  • Add the coconut oil to a nonstick frying pan and heat on a medium temperature.
  • Meanwhile, place the banana, eggs, and slender blend to a blender and blitz until smooth and creamy.
  •  Pour the mixture in the frying pan and cook for 3 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  •  Top off with honey, peanut butter or berries. Serve and enjoy!
  •  Makes 1 pancake
