Who else rushes home in order to pursue that last minute evening plan? Time is now a precious thing my darlings and … Ain’t Nobody Got Time for That! That’s why I’ve rounded up two looks that are easy and quick to put together from day to night.
Take an Outfit From Day to Night
1. Keeping it simple:
Casual days don’t need to be boring! Make sure to rock an “all black everything” look like a pro. On this specific day, I was meeting my boyfriend for a casual lunch and then meeting my girlies for a drink in the evening. I had to adapt to both occasions as I didn’t want to run home to change. So I update the outfit by adding and switching a few items. I paired this black shirt with black leggings, a lightweight jacket, and classic sneakers, these barely-there pieces can absolutely change a boring look into something interesting. Add in a cute shoulder bag and you’ll look super stylish.
2. Let’s go out!
Every woman should own a pair of high-knee boots – these boots are one of the most versatile pieces that I own and instantly elevate the look. I’ve swapped out the shirt, this one is fitted and longer which is great to wear as a dress and can be concealed under a blazer, when it gets colder.
I kept the same bag that I was using earlier to keep things simple (who else hates changing bags?). When transitioning from a day to night look you should take the time to do your makeup in the morning so you don’t need to spend hours doing it all over again. I only touched up the concealer and lipstick which speeded things up. By doing these little things you’ll look polished after that 9-hour shift.Get The Look:
Day look: Total Black Reflection Shirt
Night look: Total Black Expose Shirt
Other Quick Tips When Taking a Look From Day to Night:
– Always have a red lipstick in your makeup bag for some va-va-voom.
– Wake up 10 minutes earlier and get your makeup partially done – it will save you time in the evening.
– Leave the oversized bag at work, and bring out a cute clutch that fits your essentials for the night e.g. your phone (duh), debit/credit card, keys, and that gorgeous red lipstick.
Hope you guys enjoyed my tips to keep you chic around the clock. If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment in the post.
