7 Must-Have Liquid Lipsticks

Post by Taislany Gomes • April 21, 2016 • Beauty

Liquid Lipsticks have been extremely popular – and because I’m a makeup lover, I tend to get caught on these trends. From KylieCosmetics to Jeffree Star Cosmetics  there are so many brands out there that it becomes hard to choose the right one. Here are my top picks.

7 Must-Have Liquid Lipsticks

liquid lipsticksKylie Cosmetics – Matte Liquid Lipstick:

I mean, we all heard that this Lip Kit is the best liquid lipstick on the market, and I have to say that they did not lie. The formula on these lippies is great. The coverage and pigmentation are pretty damn good too. What I really liked about this product was the creamy texture that glides on – which makes life easier when you’re in a rush. It felt silky on the lips and did not dry them out.

I have made a short video showing how it looks on (hope you guys like it).

Favorite shades: Candy K which is a soft, warm nude and Dolce K is a medium beige nude.
Where to buy: Kyliecosmetics.com, $18 (roughly £12.50)
liquid lipsticksColourPop Ultra Matte Lips:

ColorPop has been around for ages and  everyone seem to love it. It feels flexible, elastic, and comfortable. Once they dry down, you can eat, drink, kiss, whatever, without worrying about it.

Favorite shade: Privacy Please – it’s a beautiful violet shade.
Where to buy: ColourPop.com, $6 (roughly £4)

liquid lipsticksStila – Stay all day liquid lipstick:

Stila’s liquid lipsticks are definitely full-coverage, a little goes a long way. It moistures the lip and stays in place for a hell of hours. The formula is very light, so it’s very comfortable on the lips and does not transfer. I love that it’s enriched with Vitamin E and avocado oil because it hydrates and softens the lips so they look and feel fabulous! We all want our lips happy and healthy right?

Favorite shade: Fiery: bright red.
Where to buy: Stila.co.uk, £16liquid lipsticksToo Faced – Melted Matte

I haven’t tried this one yet, but it’s definitely my next buy.  Too Faced claims that this innovative formula glides over the lips like a gloss but dries to an ultra-matte opaque finish. “Melted Matte ensures color always looks rich, full, and kissable – never dry, shriveled or cracked. Doe-foot applicator comfortably coats lips in bursts of intense, saturated matte color that last for hours.”

Favorite shade: Bend & Snap. It’s a beautiful raspberry color.
Where to buy: TooFaced.com, $18

Jeffree Star Cosmetics – Velour Liquid Lipstick

This liquid lipstick goes on opaque, dries completely matte and stays on for hours! The cool thing? It’s 100% vegan & cruelty-free! It also glides on like butter using little product or pressure. It feels weightless and hydrating on your pout. It’s really long-lasting but not completely kissproof..ups! But it will still look almost perfect!liquid lipsticks
Favorite shade: Scorpio – has grey and purple shades mixed together. Definitely a unique shade.
Where to buy: JeffreeStarCosmetics.com, £18  (roughly £12.50)

Cheap Options:

Untsadsaitled
MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer

On a budget? Not to worry. MUA got you covered! You can get the ultimate velvet-matte pout with this lip lacquer. I have tried it myself and it does leave a decent matte finish.

Favorite shade: Harmony – pale light brown.
Where to buy: Muastore.co.uk, £3
aaaad
NYX Cosmetics – Soft Matte Lip Cream

Neither lipstick nor lip gloss. It’s like a matte lip cream, it has a smooth formula but sets to a matte finish. Not as durable as the ones from, unlike some other matte lipstick formulas.

Favorite shade: Stockholm
Where to buy: Nyxcosmetics Selfridges, £5.50

Tip: when wearing liquid lipsticks avoid food with oil… and no making out, kisses are ok tho!
