Tips to Nail a low-key Valentine’s day at home

How about being innovative this year’s Valentine’s Day? Since this date asks for gifts that reflect more than material things, nothing better than giving your sweetheart something to light up their mood!

I mean, Valentine’s Day is the best time to show your feelings in every possible way, then why not show it by giving a lamp that spells it out for you? When I saw this Love LED Light by Debenhams, I knew I had to have it as it gives a touch of Valentine’s day without making it too cheesy.

I love the retro-inspired charm it gives to my modern home. It features a steel frame designed to create a sinuous ‘Love’ slogan and an LED light that emits a warm, welcoming glow.

Lighting:

Nothing gives a more romantic vibe than adequate lighting. It can be with small lamps, with candles, with indirect lighting, as it is a discreet lighting that leaves the atmosphere very cozy and sexy.

Smells:

To give a lovely smell you can use incense, scented candles, scented sprays for home or whatever you have on hand that can give a special smell. Diffusers are also a great option as the smell spreads throughout the house.

Decorating the Table:

The table must be well set, with lots of touches of romanticism and affection. If it is for a dinner, you can use your everyday dishes and cutlery, but the special touch will be down to the flowers, details in red and lots of hearts. Shop for tables here.

The important thing is that everything is done with love and care. I hope you guys have a lovely Valentine’s Day with the one you love and if you’re single, may you have lots of fun with your Gals?
