If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that I have been more active and also making healthier choices in general. So, when Lifelab sent me their at-home complete allergies and intolerance test I was very excited to give it a try.

Over the years, I noticed that I would eat certain things and my body would feel a little different straightaway hence why doing this test was such an exciting yet fascinating thing to do.

Complete Body Test 40 allergies tested & 80 intolerances test

This Complete Body Test analyses a small blood sample against 40 allergens and 80 intolerances, food and inhalant, to give us the most comprehensive picture of our body.

Highlights

  • Find out your food intolerances and allergies with a blood test.
  • Test for gluten, lactose, fish, garlic, fruit, wheat, cheese, meat and much more!
  • Receive a sample kit in the post and return in a pre-paid envelope.
  • You will receive a full report and a comprehensive guide.
  • Get fantastic info about yourself to start making changes and feel better!

In case you’re wondering, this test is designed to identify which items may be causing you symptoms like: headaches and migraines, stomach pain or bloating, diarrhoea or vomiting, swelling of the face/ lips or itchy mouth/ throat Rashes, hives and breakouts and to help you optimise your diet.

I didn’t have all of the symptoms but I did get stomach pain and bloating very frequently and it would really impact my mood and overall wellbeing.
Once the order is placed, your kit will arrive super quickly and the whole process is very easy. It arrived on a Monday and I returned it back to them on the same day as it mentions that Monday’s and Tuesday’s are the best days to take your blood sample.

How it works:

Your blood sample is turned into plasma (the liquid component of blood) and LifeLab technicians then analyse the immune-mediated intolerances, which produce IgG4 antibodies against 80 items plus against 40 allergy (IgE) items to generate a report. The report is then uploaded to your secure customer area ready for download.

After looking at my results, I did cut out on the food I have an intolerance to and have already seen some improvement. I am no longer bloated all the time and my skin is clearer and rarely get breakouts. I am glad I did the test and can now tailor my diet to feel my best.
